Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Christmas weekend for the Chillicothe Police Department included 150 calls for service, a couple of accidents, and a few arrests.

Friday, December 25th, 2020

3:32 PM, Officer called to the 1200 block of Normal Street for a report of property damage.

Saturday, December 26th, 2020

8:41 AM, Officer responded to the 400 block of Grandview for a report of property damage.  No damage was located.  Officers did arrest a 50-year-old male on a City of Chillicothe Warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while revoked.  The subject was able to post the required bond and was released pending a future court appearance.

9:38 AM, Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident at Dickinson and Calhoun.  Officer reported one vehicle failed to yield right of way and struck another vehicle causing minor damage to the vehicle.

11:54 AM, Officer called to private parking lot regarding a two-vehicle non-injury accident.  Parties exchanged information and no report was needed.

Sunday, December 27th, 2020

4:15 AM, Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Second Street.  Officer reported disturbance was verbal.  A 32-year-old male was arrested on a Daviess County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while under the influence.  The subject was unable to post the required bond and was transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.

2:54 PM, Officers called to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Second Street.  As a result of the investigation, officers arrested a 28-year-old male for domestic assault.  The subject was transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
