Chillicothe Police Department Weekend Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 60 calls for service Saturday.  Some of the calls include:

12:18 am, Officers responded to the 300 block of Violet Street for a well-being check.  A 26-year-old man was found attempting to harm himself by carbon monoxide poisoning.  The man was removed from his automobile and transported to Hedrick Medical Center by Emergency Services ambulance.  He was examined and medically cleared for confinement taken to the PD and later transported to another medical facility for evaluation and treatment.

7:47 am, Officers responded to the 300 block of Webster for a 14-year-old having trouble breathing and unresponsive.   The juvenile was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for further treatment.

3:40 pm, Officers responded to Green and Washington Street for a two-vehicle accident,  The Officers spoke with both drivers and determined one vehicle was traveling southbound on Washington Street when it struck the second vehicle that was making a left turn from Green Street after failing to yield.  A citation was issued to the driver of the second vehicle for an improper turn.  Both vehicles received minor damage and no injuries were reported.

6:15 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street for a report of shoplifting.  A woman was found to be stealing items without paying.  The investigation is on-going at this time.
