Chillicothe Police Report For Friday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 101 calls for service Friday.  The report includes accidents and an arrest.

8:31 am, Officer in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street on a report of theft of propane tanks from grilling equipment.  The investigation continuing.

10:38 am, Officers responded to the 300 block of Dickinson and took a report about possible forgery.  Investigation continuing.

2:54 pm, Officer out at City Hall on security for Council Meeting.

6:42 pm, Officers responded to a report of an accident at Highways 36 and 65.  The investigation of the three-vehicle accident showed no one was injured.  According to the report, a vehicle was exiting Highway 36 eastbound and attempted to get back onto the highway when they struck another vehicle, which was northbound on US 65.  That vehicle spun, coming to rest in the southbound lane where it was struck by a southbound vehicle.   Southbound lanes were blocked for a time.  All vehicles were towed from the scene.

7:31 pm, 0fficers responded to the 1100 block of Clay Street to a reported domestic disturbance.  The male and female residents were contacted and upon investigation, the male subject was arrested for domestic assault, transported to the PD, cited, and released.
