Serious, Moderate And Minor Injuries In Accidents Over The weekend

A Chillicothe man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning.  Forty-four-year-old Robert Skipper was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment following the single-vehicle accident on Route A, Northwest of Chillicothe.  According to the report, Skipper was southbound and lost control.  He ran off the east side of the road and his vehicle overturned several times, coming to rest on the driver’s side.  Skipper was wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident.

A three-vehicle accident on Highway 6 left one driver with minor injuries Saturday afternoon.  The accident happened on Highway 6 in Adair County.  According to the report, at about 3:50 pm, 21-year-old Grant Bennett of Trenton was eastbound and ran into another eastbound vehicle driven by 20-year-old Devon Clinch of Milan.  Bennett’s vehicle then crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle driven by 34-year-old Jennifer Steward of Carmel, IN.  Steward had minor injuries and sought her own treatment.  All three were wearing safety belts.

A two-vehicle accident Sunday on US 36 east of Chillicothe, left a Chillicothe man with moderate injuries.  State Troopers report 44-year-old Nick Hansen of Chillicothe and 23-year-old Spencer Mellow of Florida were westbound at about 1:00  pm.  Mellow was sliding and struck the Hansen vehicle from behind.  Hansen went off the road and his car overturned, coming to rest on its top.  Hansen was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.  Mellow was not injured.  They were wearing safety belts.
