An ATV accident Wednesday morning left a Polo resident with serious injuries. Twenty-two-year-old Gunnar Martin of Polo was flown to Truman Medical Center following the accident that happened at about 11:30 am, at a location on Route T, north of Polo. State Troopers report Martin was southbound on Route T and ran off the east side of the road, struck the ditch, and overturned several times, ejecting Martin from the ATV. Martin was not wearing a helmet.
