Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 64 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include”

11:39 am, Officers responded to US 65 and Westbound US-36 for an accident.   A passenger vehicle pulled out in front of a semi-truck and was struck.   No injuries were reported.

11:58 am, The Police Department was called for a suicidal woman who was very agitated and known to be aggressive.  The Chief of Police and Officers responded to the 900 block of Dickinson Street, while the department Crisis Negotiator established phone contact with the woman.  She was taken into custody and transferred to a hospital for care and evaluation

2:11 pm, officers responded to possible burglary and theft in the 300 block of Jackson Street.

7:50 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Washington and Fairway Street.  One vehicle was southbound and an eastbound vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign, hitting the southbound vehicle.  The driver of the eastbound vehicle was cited for failure to yield.  The occupants of the eastbound vehicle were taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of injuries.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
