Chillicothe’s voice in Jefferson City, Representative Rusty Black has introduced a bill dealing with “huffing”, an activity that involves sniffing inhalants, that affects a person similar to illegal drug usage.
Black says his bill will strengthen an existing bill.
Representative Black says the inspiration from this bill dates back to a tragic accident that took a life.
Chillicothe resident Dannette Rardon was killed in a traffic crash in downtown Chillicothe in November 2017 when her car was struck by a driver who was allegedly under the influence of “huffing”. He was found guilty in court.
