Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 99 calls for service Tuesday.  They include three calls for suicidal individuals.  Two of them were juveniles.  Two people were taken to medical facilities for treatment.  Other calls include:

7:20 a.m., Officers took a report of child abuse in the 400 block of Mack St.

8:30 a.m., Officers were dispatched for a child refusing to go to school.  The incident will be forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

10:42 a.m., Officers at the Police Department spoke with a citizen about possible fraud.  The person was referred to a federal agency.

11:33 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a residential fire in the 1800 block of Fairchild St.  Officers discovered there was no fire, but smoke from overcooked food.

12:24 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possible threats and assault in the 1500 block of Third St.

2:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible missing dog located in the 300 block of S. Washington St.  The dog was returned to the owner.

3:36 p.m., a citizen called the Police Department to report possible illegal drug use in the 300 block of Polk St.  Officers attempted to gather information, and the caller hung-up.

4:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check in the 2600 block of N. Washington St.  The person was transported to a medical facility by ambulance for treatment and evaluation.  Officers were assisted by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.

4:59 p.m., another agency called the Police Department with information on a wanted person.  Officers were advised of the information.

9:48 p.m., Officers were dispatched to shoplifting in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Officers arrested a 24-year-old woman for shoplifting.  She was processed at the Police Department and released pending a court appearance.
