Missouri Governor Mike Parson will be in the area this week for ceremonial signings of SCR 7 in Milan and HB 574 in Trenton.
Thursday at 3:15, the governor will be at the Milan Community Center for the ceremonial signing of SCR 7, for the funding of the North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission project. The State has made a long-term commitment of money in the Multipurpose Water Resource Program Fund, subject to appropriations, provided that the total annual cost does not exceed $1.5 million, and the total cost over the life of the contract does not exceed $24 million.
At 4:30, Governor Parson will be at NCMC Barton Farm Campus for the ceremonial signing of HB 574, which Prohibits the inspection of certain grounds or facilities in Missouri, including farms, to enforce the laws of a state other than Missouri.
