The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 118 calls for service Thursday. Some of the calls include:

2:12 pm, Officers responded to a report of two people attempting to steal from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. One person was taken into custody and released on a citation.
3:20 pm, a billfold was brought to the Police Department. It had been recovered near the Municipal Airport. A check of the wallet determined it belongs to a person from Arkansas. Authorities in that community were contacted to notify the owner of the wallet.
4:15 pm, Officers at the Police Department took a report of an assault that occurred in the 500 block of Vine Street. The investigation continues.
7:00 pm, Officers received information on a possible child abuse case in another jurisdiction. Information will be provided to that jurisdiction.
