CDC Revises Mask Recommendations

Wearing a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 is recommended by the Centers For Disease Control or CDC, even if you have been vaccinated.  The recommendation is due to the increase in the number of cases due to the Delta Variant.  Ann Burchett from the Livingston County Health Center says the use of a mask is effective,

She says masks may be needed more in areas that there are large numbers of people.

Burchett says getting vaccinated for COVID 19 is strongly recommended.

The Livingston County Health Center has all three of the vaccines and they have walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations each Tuesday and Thursday.  Hours are 8:00 am to Noon and 1:00 – 4:00 pm.  call 646-5506 for more information.
