Last fall, the Chillicothe Lady Hornets turned in a spectacular season with a 16-6 record and undefeated conference champions. However, their hopes of a district title came up one inning short in a 5-4 championship loss to Savannah.
Lady Hornets Coach Lee Rucker says his team feels there is some unfinished business.
Chillicothe graduated just two players from last year’s team: Brooke Horton and Mollie Ellis.
