Area Dove Hunter should be gearing up for the start of the season on September 1st. The Dove Season runs through November 29th. The season for other migratory birds run September 1st through November 9th for sora and Virginia rails, through December 16th for Wilson’s common snipe, and October. 15th through November 28th for American woodcock.
