Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Chillicothe Police handled 68 calls for service Thursday.  The calls include:

6:57 a.m., Officers took a report of a runaway juvenile in the 2100 block of Ridgecrest Dr. The investigation is on-going.

9:39 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about a possible scam.

11:40 a.m., a citizen from another state called the Police Department to report a possible crime of identity theft/fraud.  It was discovered the victim and suspect have the same name but different Social Security Numbers and Dates of Birth.

3:23 p.m., Officers assisted Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation in the 500 block of Vine St.

3:31 p.m., Officers arrested a 34-year-old male for operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license revoked and driving the wrong way on a one-way street following a traffic stop on Cherry St. at Clay St.

5:31 p.m., Officers took a report for drug offenses in the 10 block of Brunswick St.  The investigation is on-going.

8:51 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a dog in distress in the area of Keith Ave. and Fifth Ave.  Officers discovered the dog’s cable had become twisted and was choking the dog.  Officers were able to free the dog but were unable to contact the owner at that time.  The investigation is on-going.
