The Missouri Highway Patrol reports one accident and one arrest in the area counties Monday
A semi-driver had moderate injuries in an accident in Chariton County Monday evening. State Troopers report, just before 5:00 pm, 38-year-old Christopher P Simms of Tebbetts was westbound on Route D near Mike and ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. Simms was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. He was wearing a safety belt.
A Hamilton woman was arrested Monday on two warrants. State Troopers arrested 37-year-old Joshaline L Hinkle of Hamilton at about 1:40 pm Monday. The arrests were on two probation violation warrants – one from Saline County, the other from Caldwell County. She was held pending the posting of bond.
