The Linn County courts sentenced two people to prison time on Monday.
Darrel Royal was sentenced to a total of 37 years in prison for the death of a child following a court appearance Monday. That includes 30 years for Abuse or Neglect of a Child – resulting in death and 7 years for Abuse or Neglect of a Child
This case was investigated by the Brookfield Police Department, the Missouri State Technical Assistance Team and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Bobby Waddle, Sr. was sentenced to 11 years in prison. That includes 2 years for Possession of a Controlled Substance and 9 years for Trafficking Drugs. The sentences will run consecutively.
This case was investigated by the Brookfield Police Department, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the North Missouri Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
