Troopers Make Several Arrests Heading Into Holiday

A Chillicothe man was arrested Wednesday at about 8:43 am in Grundy County.  State Troopers arrested 25-year-old David R Gamble for alleged DWI with drugs, possession of drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was taken to the Grundy County jail on a 24-hour hold.

At about 11:33 am in Linn County, Troopers arrested 35-year-old Marcus Versher of Mississippi for alleged possession of marijuana and on a Wright County warrant for alleged failure to appear on a speeding charge.

At 2:10 pm in Caldwell County, Troopers arrested 38-year-old Maurice L Gilliam of Illinois for alleged violation of a protection order, following too close, speeding, no valid driver’s license, and no insurance.  He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

At 5:15 pm in Caldwell County, 24-year-old Vesean M Griddine of Kansas City was arrested on a Platte County warrant for alleged DWI.  He was held at the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Troopers in Livingston County arrested two people at about 10:16 pm.  24-year-old Christian D Korum of Idaho and 54-year-old Curtis L Bassett of Chillicothe were arrested for alleged possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bassett was also arrested for alleged possession of marijuana.  They were processed and released.

In Sullivan County at about 10:44 pm, 37-year-old Jamie S Floyd of Browning was arrested for alleged DWI.  He was processed and released.

At about 12:02 am in Caldwell County, Troopers arrested 23-year-old Jake N Leonard of Polo for alleged DWI, No valid license, and careless and imprudent driving.  He was taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center
