Highway Patrol Accident and Arrest Reports

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported one accident and four arrests for the area counties over the weekend.

Saturday at about 5:30 am, a single-vehicle accident on Highway 6 near Reger left the driver with moderate injuries.  Troopers report 21-year-old Eric L Lovett of Milan was westbound and ran off the right side of the road.  The pick-up went airborne and struck the ground.  Lovett was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.  He was wearing a safety belt.  Troopers arrested Lovett for alleged DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and no driver’s license.  He was released for medical treatment.

Sunday at about 1:15 am, a Polo man was arrested in Harrison County.  Troopers arrested 55-year-old Davidson Hosteen for alleged DWI.  He was taken to the Harrison County Jail.

Sunday at about 2:05 am, Troopers in Sullivan county arrested 22-year-old Ian C Russell for alleged DWI, no seatbelt, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.  He was processed and released.

Sunday at about 4:35 pm in Linn county, Troopers arrested 19-year-old Eric L Heard of Peoria, IL for alleged speeding, no valid license, and possession of marijuana.  He was processed and released.
