Four Injured In Three Accidents Thursday Morning

Slick road conditions may have contributed to three accidents this morning.  The Missouri Highway Patrol reports two accidents in Caldwell County and one in Grundy County.

At about 7:34, Troopers were called for a vehicle that had slid off the road at Business 36, a mile west of Hamilton.  The driver, 39-year-old Michelle Shuman of Hamilton reported minor injuries after her vehicle came to rest in a drainage ditch.  She was taken to Liberty Hospital for treatment.

Also at 7:34, Troopers responded to Route CC, north of Willis Street.  The driver was southbound and ran off the road and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels.  The driver, 33-year-old Brooke S Henderson, was not wearing a safety belt and had moderate injuries.  She was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.

At 8:00 am on Missouri Highway 6 in Galt, two were injured when the vehicle driven westbound by 33-year-old Eliezer Santiago of Milan lost control on the frost-covered road and ran off the northside, and struck an embankment and tree.  Santiago and his passenger, 47-year-old Ruiz Osvoldo of Puerto Rico were not wearing safety belts and suffered moderate injuries.  They were taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment.
