The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for the early part of January includes several investigations and arrests.
Incident Reports:
January 4th deputies conducted interviews for an open investigation on felony stealing, residential burglaries, theft of personal property, stealing of firearms and other crimes. One person was very cooperative and the other(s) refused to cooperate.
January 08 about 9:50 a.m. LCSO responded to a report of Domestic Assault in the 2000 block of LIV 418.  The investigation involved allegations of a man assaulting a woman and a child.  The Highway Patrol was notified of information on the suspect who had left the scene. Troopers in Cameron arrested 40-year-old Dusty Whitaker of Cameron for alleged Domestic Assault. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail and has since posted bond.
Other Arrests since the start of the new year:
January 3rd at 2:37 pm, Deputies made a vehicle stop that resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Juan Joquarr Irving of Indiana for alleged Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released.
January 4th at 3:02 pm, a traffic stop on US 65 for excessive speed resulted in the arrest of 34-year-old Preston Kyle Fiddick of Carrollton for alleged Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released.
January 4th at 5:35 pm, a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Julia Anne Livengood of Chillicothe for alleged Driving While Suspended/Revoked and Failure to Register Motor Vehicle. She was processed and released.
January 6th at 12:33 pm,  a vehicle stop for license plates not matching the vehicle resulted in the driver, 46-year-old Brandi Opal Peniston of Chillicothe being arrested for alleged No Valid Driver’s License. She was processed and released
January 6th at 2:00 pm, deputies arrested 27-year-old Donnie Clay Matheson of Chillicothe on Livingston County warrant for alleged Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
January 6th deputies arrested 27-year-old Heather Louise Woods of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
January 8th at 11:26 pm deputies witnessed a vehicle eastbound on US 36 at an extremely high rate of speed.  The deputy got the vehicle stopped in Chillicothe and arrested 30-year-old Joshua Twum of Chicago for alleged Driving While Intoxicated. He was processed and released with a court date.
