An offender housed at the Chillicothe Women’s Prison died Friday after she was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. the Missouri Department of Corrections says 64-year-old Peggy Goodin had been serving a 7-year sentence on three counts of possession of a controlled substance in Scotland County and Schuyler County. She was two years into her sentence at the time of her death. An autopsy will be performed.
