Livingston County Sheriff’s Report

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report for late February includes several investigations and arrests.

An investigation of child abuse that began earlier in February was completed by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department.  The child abuse is alleged to have occurred in September 2021.  The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has forwarded that information to the prosecuting attorney for consideration.

February 26 at 11:30 p.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle at US 65 and US 36 for no headlights.  Investigation resulted in the arrest of 23-year-old Jordan Tyler Stewart-Humphrey of Hale for alleged Driving While Intoxicated-Prior Offender, Driving While Revoked and No Insurance.

February 28 about 12: a.m. deputies responded to an address in Wheeling regarding a physical altercation between parent and child.  Investigation resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Traci Jo Jones of Wheeling for alleged Domestic Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  She was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

Monday, a new most wanted was added to the list.

32-year-old Tiffany Latouria Midgyett of Chillicothe is wanted on Livingston County warrant for alleged Failure to Obey Judge’s Order on original class D felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle-.

39-year-old Joseph Brett Murphy of Lexington is wanted on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Driving While Revoked/Suspended.

Two were arrested last week on Warrants.

February 23, deputies arrested 41-year-old Jesse J. Deshazier of Chillicothe on a Livingston County warrant for alleged Delivery of Controlled Substance.  He posted the $5,000 bond and was released.

February 23, deputies served a Clinton County arrest warrant in Dawn.  36-year-old Lacey Leanne Stith of Dawn was wanted for alleged Failure to Obey a Judge’s Order on a charge of alleged Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and No Auto Insurance.  She was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond set at $1,000.
