A Braymer School District Science Teacher already charged with alleged first-degree sexual misconduct, sexual misconduct involving a child under 15, and four counts of furnishing pornographic material or attempting to furnish pornographic material to a minor now faces additional charges.  Twenty-nine-year-old Zachary Wayman Douglas of Utica made his appearance for a bond hearing Thursday morning and the judge found “No Bond” is appropriate due to the potential danger to victims and the gravity of the charges.  He remains in Custody at the Caldwell County Jail.
Wednesday, Douglas was charged with four counts of alleged Sexual Abuse – 1st degree, two counts of alleged Statutory Sodomy – 2nd degree, four counts of alleged sexual contact with a student, one count of alleged sexual misconduct – 1st degree – first offense, and one additional charge of alleged furnishing pornographic material or attempting to furnish pornographic material to a minor. Douglas’s next appearance on these charges is April 7th.
The arrest on the second set of charges also has no bond allowed.
