Council Approves New Body Cameras For Police

The Chillicothe City Council approved the purchase of 22 new body camera systems, the camera and accessories, to be used by the Chillicothe Police Department.  Police Chief John Maples says the new cameras are a step up in technology.

The camera systems were purchased from Digital Ally.  The cost of the system is just over $77,000.  This is a cloud-based system.
