Elections: Absentee Voting & Voting Equipment Test

The August 2nd Primary is approaching and the Livingston County Clerk’s Office has Absentee Voting and Election Equipment Testing Scheduled.

 

Absentee voting for the August 2nd primary continues through August 1st.  To cast a ballot, you must be a registered voter.  You may request an absentee ballot be mailed to you by July 20th, and those ballots must be returned to the clerk’s office by 7:00 pm on the day of the election.

Absentee voting is also available in person at the clerk’s office during regular office hours.  Special hours will be available Saturday, July 30th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and on August 1st until 5:00 pm

The testing of automatic voting equipment for Livingston County will be July 27th at 10:00 am.  The testing takes place in the first-floor lobby of the Livingston County Courthouse.  The testing process is open to all that wish to attend, including the candidates, media, party representatives, and the public.  If you have questions, call the Livingston County Clerk’s Office at 660-646-8000 – x3
