Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report for the weekend included vehicle stops and arrests.

10:12 am, Subject calling of a speeding vehicle in the 300 block of Jackson Street that struck and killed two puppies and didn’t stop.  Officers searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate it.

1:15 pm, Illegal burning reported in the 1100 block of First Street.  Officers checked and the subject was advised of the Burn Ordinance.

3:30 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Washington for a man passed out at the wheel of a running vehicle.  The man was arrested for DWI and felony possession of a controlled substance.  He was processed, cited, and released.

6:59 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of Walnut in reference to an individual that witnessed a hit and run vehicle crash in the 100 block of Wilson Street.  Investigation on going.

7:10pm, Officer responded with Animal Control to a storm drain at Webster and Jefferson Street in reference a baby Raccoon stuck in a storm drain.  Animal rescued.

 

Sunday,

12:25 AM, Officers were out on routine patrol when they came across a verbal domestic in progress in the 300 block of Business 36.  One person had an active warrant out of Colorado.  They were arrested and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
