Bridge rehabilitation work on US 24 in Carroll County was announced by MoDOT.  The work includes seven bridges over two years.

Crews from Capital Paving and Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin work on the first two bridges on Monday, Aug. 8:

US 24/Benton Street over US 65 in Carrollton

  • Aug. 8 – mid-November
  • One lane, each direction, will remain open throughout construction

US 24/65 over Moss Creek Drainage Ditch, approximately 4 miles south of Missouri Route 10

  • Aug. 8 – early December
  • The road will be narrowed to one lane only, with temporary traffic signals directing motorists through the work zone.
