MoDOT Resurfacing In Davies, Grundy, And Harrison Counties

Resurfacing projects that span three counties will begin soon.  The Missouri Department of Transportation says the work includes on Route K in Harrison and Daviess Counties and Route P in Daviess and Grundy Counties.

Herzog Contracting Corp. has the contract to resurface Route K from Route 146 in Harrison County to Highway 6 in Daviess County and Route P from Highway 13 in Daviess County to Highway 6 in Grundy County.

Work on both projects will begin August 23rd and is expected to be complete by September 16th.

During the work, the roads will be closed in up to two-mile sections.  The work is scheduled for six days a week during daylight hours.

They plan to begin at the north end of Route K and move south and at the east end of Route P and progress west. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during these closures.
