Missouri State Fair – 4H and FFA Contests

While the Missouri State Fair doesn’t officially begin until August 11^th, the Horsemanship events have already taken place.

In the local area, top placements include:

Gracelynn Barnett of Chillicothe, placed 4^th in Pole Bending – 13 and over (ponies 58 inches and under)

Reata McCracken of Dawn, placed 5^th in Ranch Riding Pleasure 12 and under.

Layton Ruppel of Mokane placed 5^th in Ranch Riding Pleasure Novice all ages Walk/Trot

Presleigh Stockwell of Mendon placed 1^st in Barrels 12 & under (Horses over 58 inches) and 2^nd in Pole Bending 12 & under (Horses over 58 inches)

Allee Prescott of Coffey placed 1^st in Pole Bending 13 & 14 (Horses over 58 inches), and 2^nd in Barrels 13 & 14 (Horses over 58 inches)

Ella Terhune of Jamesport placed 4^th in Pole Bending 13 & 14 (Horses over 58 inches)
