One-hundred-sixty-seven calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday.
8:52 am, Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined the 57 year old operator was driving with a revoked license. They were cited and released.
9:00 am, Subject calling to report a possible sexual offense having occurred. Information received for ongoing investigation.
4:59 pm, Report of someone in a car following another person as they were walking in the area of Business 36 and International Road. Officers made contact and the driver agreed to leave the person alone and leave the area.
7:25 pm, Officers performed a requested welfare check on a subject in the 300 block of Samuel Street. They found the 71 year old resident was deceased. The Coroner’s Office was contacted to come to the scene and took possession of the body.
7:30 pm, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Calhoun Street, in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Officers determined the driver of one of the vehicles may be under the influence of alcohol. That driver was transported to Hedrick Medical Center and consented to blood analysis.  They were cited for Operating while under the Influence of Intoxicants. The investigation is continuing.
8:17 pm, an officer traveled to Caldwell County for a theft investigation. Officers conducted an interview and information will be submitted for charges.
