MoDOT Accepting Comments For Bridge Project

A rehabilitation project is planned for the Route M Bridge in Carroll County, at the Grand River, and the Missouri Department of Transportation is accepting comments from the public.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking public input on the project that is currently in the design stage.  The work is expected to include preventive maintenance to the bridge’s driving surface as well as repairs to its supporting structures.

The 1,620-foot-long bridge is nearly 40 years old and it carries approximately 300 vehicles per day.

This project is currently scheduled to go out for contractor bids as part of MoDOT’s December 2022 letting, with construction expected during the 2023 construction season. The road will close during the project, with no detour planned.

Anyone wishing to comment on the project may do so by Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the following ways:

  2. E-mail: nwcr@modot.mo.gov
