Chillicothe R-II Career Ladder Approved

The Chillicothe R-II Career Ladder program was approved at Tuesday’s School Board meeting.  The District will receive funding from the State of Missouri for the Career Ladder program.  Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says it is a program that benefits both the students and the teaching staff.

The Career Ladder activities are outside of normal school hours and do not include contracted coaching positions or otherwise paid activities.

He says there are three levels for Career Ladder payments to teachers.

The State pays 60% of the funds, while the district pays 40%, but also needs to cover the benefits associated with the amounts.
