Chillicothe will celebrate Sliced Bread Days on June 28th and 29th this year. Amy Supple from the Greater Chillicothe Visitor’s Region says the event will include a variety of activities, beginning Friday evening with a concert at Silver Moon Plaza from 7-10 pm.
Saturday, the 29th, several activities are planned at the Grand River Historical Museum.
The Bread Baking Contest begins with entries arriving from 8:00 to 10:00 am. Winners will be announced at 1:00 pm.
A Sliced Bread Pageant will be held for children ages 1-18, from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
An Innovation Fair and Heritage Days Exhibits from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
There will be additional activities downtown and near the Sliced Bread Innovation Center.
