A log truck fire Wednesday morning resulted in moderate damage to the truck. Trenton Fire Fighters received the call to the north ramp to US 65 from Highway 6. The call came in at about 10:00 am, and the fire crew arrived to find the drive axel on the passenger side was on fire and the fire was spreading to the logs on the trailer.
The fire was put out and the owner transferred the load to a different trailer.
The fire crew was on the scene for about two hours.
