The Chillicothe R-II School District budget for the 2024/25 school year received approval of the School Board in a special meeting. The budget includes total revenues of $26.37 million dollars. The revenue figures could change as the local property assessments are complete. Those re-assessments will not take place until in September.
Expenditures budgeted for the year include $5.55 million to be spent from Fund 4 to pay for the construction of the Chillicothe Elementary School Expansion. These funds were collected by the district in the 2021/22 school year for this purpose.
The total 2024/25 expenditures are budgeted at $31.92 million dollars.
