Several City Projects

Following the scheduled appearances for the Chillicothe City Council, comments were presented by council members and staff.

City Administrator Roze Frampton told the council about two items.

The city has an RFQ – Request for Qualifications –  to hire an architect for a study of work needed at City Hall.

Frampton says they have the Personnel Handbook nearly complete though it still needs some review.

Airport Manager Toby Calivere says the resurfacing of the Life Flight Helipad will begin later this week.  The work includes grinding the top ¾ of an inch off the pad, resurfacing and applying an epoxy seal coat.

Other discussions included street cuts for utilities, potholes, and parking issues where vehicles are in the right-of-way and causing sight line issues.
