Chillicothe Police Report for Wednesday and Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department conducted follow-up investigations and served warrants at several locations around the community Wednesday and Thursday.  Other items in the report include:

Wednesday:
At about 1:30 am, Officers investigated a possible vehicle slide-off on US 36 near the US 65 overpass.

At about 11:10 am, a domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of E. Jackson St.  The incident was verbal.

At about 12:30 pm, a well-being check was conducted in the 1500 block of Fair St.

At about 4:20 pm, possible property damage was investigated in the 1000 block of Polk St.

At about 4:45 pm, officers attempted to return property in the 100 block of Herriford St.

At about 5:20 pm, a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of Business 36.

At about 8:05 pm, a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of S. Washington St.

At 9:40 p.m., Officers responded to a report of a vehicle playing loud music in the area of E. Bridge St. and Missouri Ave.  Officers located the vehicle and arrested Eric Glenn Sparkman for alleged operating a motor vehicle while driver’s license suspended.  Sparkman was processed at the Police Department.  He was released pending a court appearance.

Thursday:
At approximately 1:00 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible intruder in the 1700 block of Hickory Dr.  Officers discovered the resident was in need of mental health services.  A family member was contacted and assisted.

At approximately 7:50 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible motor vehicle crash in the area of Litton Rd. and Mohawk Rd.  Officers discovered the vehicle slid off the road.

At about 2:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to children sledding across the street into Clay Street Park.  A parent was contacted and advised of the dangers and to have the children stop sledding across the street.

At 3:00 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible stealing in the 3100 block of N. Washington St.

At approximately 3:23 p.m., Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol for multiple slide-offs and a traffic crash on U.S. 36 Hwy. at Wheeling.
