The Morton Sisters will perform on the stage of the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center this Sunday.
“The Morton Sisters”- Trio in Harmony, will be the final performance of the 2018/19 Chillicothe Area Arts Council season. The Morton Sisters will bring to the stage a tight three-part harmony that creates a signature blend that takes you back to the sounds of the Andrews, McGuire, and Lennon Sisters. The Morton Sisters enjoy singing a variety of genres and styles that include 50’s and 60’s, Rock-n-Roll, 60’s Pop, Patriotic, Acapella, and Gospel/Christian.
The group, three sisters-Leesa, Rebecca and Jessica- have always expressed a passion for music. When asked how their musical career began, Leesa remarked, said they had always wanted to sing, ever since we were young, but the opportunity and timing just was never right until a few years ago when they really started singing together again and wanting to make it something serious.
