Troopers Report Accidents And Arrests Over The Weekend
An Oak Grove man had minor injuries in an accident on Highway A, south of Braymer Saturday night. At about 7:00 pm, 51-year-old Troy Payne of Oak Grove was southbound and crossed the centerline, sideswiping a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Sam Wright of Braymer. Wright and his infant son were not injured in the accident, they were properly restrained. Payne was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was not wearing a safety belt.
Payne was also arrested for alleged DWI, careless and imprudent driving involving a crash and no seatbelt. When he was released from the hospital he was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
A Meadville man was arrested by State Troopers Saturday evening. Troopers in Linn County arrested 30 year old Brett Neal of Meadville for alleged DWI and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, resulting in an accident. He was processed and released.
