Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Chillicothe Police had a busy Thursday with more than 100 calls for service.

1:40 am, Officers responded to the area of Martin & Gale in reference loud music.  Residents turned the music down.

1:55 am, Officers responded to an alarm in the 300 block of Henry St.  Unable to determine cause for alarm.

11:59 am, Officer spoke with a subject who reported that someone was trying to use their social security number.

1:01 pm, Officers took a report of theft in the 300 block of East Bridge Street. This investigation continues.

1:33 pm, Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street, on a report of shoplifting. An employee stated the person attempted to walk out of the store without purchasing some items. Officers arrested the person for shoplifting.  They were processed and cited.  They were also arrested on warrants out of Clay and Jackson County.

3:57 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle near Ryan and Washington for traffic violations. They found the driver had a suspended license, invalid registration, was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  The person was taken to PD, processed and released.

7:03 pm, Officer responded to Silver Moon Plaza to a disturbance between two juveniles where one allegedly pulled a knife and a threat was made.  The incident was handled by parents…

9:38 pm, Loud music from 700 block Cowgill Street, music stopped.
