State Troopers report two accidents in the area counties Friday evening.
The Missouri Highway Patrol responded to an accident on Route H Friday night. The accident was about a mile east of Avalon at about 9:50 pm. According to the report, 28 year old Richard J Stumph of Chillicothe was eastbound when he ran off the road and his car overturned. He was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
At about 8:20 pm in Carroll County, a single vehicle accident on County Road 143, near Highway 10, left the driver with minor injuries. Troopers report 20 year old Candice Brock of Norborne was northbound and ran off the right side of the road and hit an embankment. She was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
