Missouri Main Street presented Downtown Revitalization Awards at their annual conference Thursday night, and Main Street Chillicothe received two of the awards. Main Street Chillicothe Director Ben White says one of the biggest awards presented is the Volunteer of the Year Award, because Main Street is a volunteer-driven organization.
Kelly’s son Gabe was on hand to accept the award for the family.
White says Main Street Chillicothe was also recognized with the Outstanding Community Education Campaign Award.
White says in addition to the awards, the conference also provides education opportunities, allowing the organizations to share ideas and bring home new opportunities to try in their community.
