Chillicothe’s Board of Public Works heard a request to extend the lease of ground for a cell phone tower. General Manager Jim Gillilan says the tower is located behind the refuse building on Brunswick Street.
Gillilan says the current rate on the lease is $9,200 a year.
The contract will be sent to the Chillicothe City Council for consideration on August 19th.
Gilliland says they also had a report on the annual audit. He says there were no issues brought up in the audit report.
