Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department had 108 calls for service Tuesday, including an accident and one arrest.

12:28 am, Officer checked on a vehicle that was left in Danner Park.  OK, no one around.

9:10 am, Parking complaint in the 1800 block of Borden Street.  Officer spoke with the owner and advised of requirements to park on the street.

12:42 pm, Officers were called to the 800 block of South Washington Street for a two-vehicle crash. The officers determined the accident happened when one vehicle was making a lane change and hit the other vehicle.  One driver was cited for improper lane use.

12:50 pm, Officers responded to a report of a utility pole that had fallen over at Woodward and Calhoun Streets.  CMU was notified.

2:00 pm, Officers began an investigation of a report of sexual misconduct between juveniles.

2:32 pm, Officer investigated property damage to a traffic signal pole at Jackson and Washington.  A semi-truck and trailer were seen turning from Washington onto eastbound Jackson Street and the right rear of the trailer struck and damaged the pole.  Officers were unable to locate the truck.  The pole was scraped and dented and the pedestrian signal button was destroyed.

3:15 pm, Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street on a report of stealing. One person was arrested for attempting to steal a hard drive unit for a game console.

7:36 pm, Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity in the 1300 block of Third Street.  No report at this time.

10:50 pm, A third party report of a possible domestic situation in 1400 block of Polk Street was investigated.  Officers contacted the residents who advised that there were no issues.
