A Princeton woman had serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning. Twenty-year-old Kelly Boothe of Princeton was taken to St Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City following the accident in Mercer County. The accident happened about 6:10 am on US 136, 2 miles east of Princeton, when Boothe was eastbound and slid off the road, struck a culvert and a road sign and her vehicle overturned twice before coming to rest on the vehicles top. Booth was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident.
