Chillicothe Police Had A Quiet Christmas Day

The Chillicothe Police Department had a fairly quiet Christmas Day, with 47 calls for service.

10:27 am, Officers and Emergency Services out in the 900 block of Webster Street with a subject that was suffering from anxiety issues.  Officers spoke with the person and determined they did not need immediate medical attention.

2:02 pm, Officers out at Gravesville Park with a suspicious acting subject.  It was the same person with anxiety issues and was asking people to use their phone and for a ride.  No report.

3:01 pm, Officers were called to the 2100 block of Ridgecrest due to a domestic disturbance.   One woman was arrested for domestic assault, processed and was later transported to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

5:42 pm, Officer out in the 400 block of Reynard Street for a report of property damage.  Someone drove through a yard, causing ruts in the yard.

8:12 pm, Reported fire at Clay and Vine Streets, Officers responded to the area and located a recreational fire.  No report.

Officers also made several vehicle stops, had continuing investigations and made building security checks.
