Chillicothe R-II School District’s Teacher of the Year and Beacon Award Winners will be announced this afternoon in a ceremony at 2:00 pm at the Performing Arts Center.
This year’s nominees for Teacher of the Years include:
Field School – Tracy Miller
Dewey School – Libby Howe
Middle School – Stephanie Baldwin
High School – Nancy Thorne
Grand River Tech – Jenny Hughes
For the Beacon Award, the nominees include:
Chillicothe Elementary – Vicki Callaway
Field – Kerrie Mattox
Dewey – Natasha Renfro
Middle School – Mark Pauley
High School – Evet Meierer
Grand River Tech – Ruth Summers
At the ceremony, the School District will also have recognition for years of service for the staff at that event.
