Chillicothe Police Report For The Weekend

The Chillicothe Police Report for Friday and the Weekend includes 230 calls for service, one arrest and an unattended death.

Friday

At 1:18 am, Officers were dispatched to phone harassment at a business in the 200 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.

At 12:42 p.m., Officers conducted a well-being check in the 1700 block of Hickory Dr.  The person was found to be okay.

At 4:40 p.m., Officers arrested Lyall Duane Gramenz in the 900 block of Webster St.on active warrants out of Livingston County for alleged possession of a controlled substance and violation of a protection order.  Gramenz was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail

At 9:27 p.m., Officers were dispatched to possibly intoxicated teenagers at a business in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Officers located the individuals who were not intoxicated.

Saturday,

At 7:57 a.m., Officers spoke with a resident about a landlord/tenant dispute.  The citizen was advised it was civil and to speak with an attorney.

At 9:12 a.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible stealing in the 1000 block of Polk St.  There was no report.

At 11:11 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible drug paraphernalia located in the area of Calhoun St. and Cherry St.  The item was recovered and disposed.

At 3:33 p.m., Officers responded to a stop sign down in the 1100 block of Trenton St.  The Street Department was advised.

At 3:54 p.m., Officers took a report of stealing in the 200 block of S. Washington St.  The investigation is on-going.

At 7:48 p.m., Officers took a report of leaving the scene of an accident in the 200 block of N. Washington St.

At 10:16 p.m., Officers assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office with checking the city for a possible missing child from another jurisdiction.  Officers were advised the child had returned home without incident.

Sunday,

At 7:16 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a possible stealing in the 1400 block of Alexander St.  No report was filed at that time.

At 8:19 a.m., Officers were dispatched to possible property damage in the 1100 block of Grandview Ave.  No report was filed at that time.

At 8:37 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an obstruction of the street in the 200 block of Polk St.  A stuck vehicle was removed.

At 9:30 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an unattended death in the 1200 block of Monroe St.  No foul play is suspected

At 10:06 a.m., Officers took a report of property damage in the 200 block of Crescent Dr.  The investigation is on-going.

At 5:26 p.m., Officers spoke with a citizen about possible stolen property from the 200 block of N. Washington St.  The property was located and returned to the owner.

At 7:26 p.m., Officers took a report of interference with custody at the Police Department.  The investigation is on-going.

At 11:50 p.m., Officers were dispatched to barking dogs in the 1400 block of Calhoun St.  Officers were advised the dogs were put up prior to their arrival.
