The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department has had several recent investigations. Sheriff Steve Cox says they include:
Several mailboxes that were recovered in Caldwell County were returned to Livingston county. The mailboxes have been returned to the proper owners.
Deputies investigated an abandoned vehicle that had been vandalized. The vehicle was purchased by a Trenton resident, but the purchase was never completed.
A Domestic Assault was investigated in the 5000 block of LIV 251. Deputies have not been able to locate a person believed to be involved and the investigation continues.
Deputies were called to an accident on US 36, near LIV 405. A woman with a small child on her lap were not restrained at the time of the accident. Sheriff Cox says the woman appeared to be impaired by drugs. The highway patrol and Child Services were called. No injuries were reported and the woman was taken into custody by the Highway Patrol.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reported three arrests this week.
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 37-year-old Christopher Branna, of Mooresville for alleged Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released.
Deputies arrested 66-year-old Robert Henry Mammen by court order. The arrest was on an alleged probation violation on an earlier conviction for DWI. He was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
Deputies extradited 24-year-old Melissa L. Davis from Grundy County on a Probation Violation warrant. She was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
