A Breckenridge resident had serious injuries in an accident Monday evening in Morgan County in central Missouri. Thirty-five-year-old Shane Walter was flown to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment following the accident on Highway 5 at Route TT. According to the Highway Patrol, at about 5:20 pm, Walter was southbound on a motorcycle and was being pursued by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Deputy. He attempted to pass another southbound vehicle that was making a left turn and hit the vehicle, ran off the road, the bike overturned and he was ejected.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
